    The Organization Development (OD) Specialist is a member of Cooper’s Organizational Effectiveness and Learning team who delivers organization-wide engagement and value to our employees at various stages of their careers - from Day 1 Employee Orientation to New Leader and Physician Leadership Development. The ideal candidate is an OD/L&D professional that is confident working with executive leaders as well as frontline clinical and non-clinical staff, and brings experience and enthusiasm to help Cooper employees perform and thrive.

    Program Delivery

    • Deliver and support organizational development and training programs including New Employee Orientation; New Leader Orientation; Professional Development courses; specialty programs for Physicians, Interns, and other internal audiences; and topics that improve organizational effectiveness.
    • Use a range of engaging group facilitation methods in the classroom and on virtual platforms (WebEx experience a plus).

    Program Development and Management

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze Cooper’s organizational learning and development needs; and address gaps with appropriate learning and development interventions
    • Use instructional strategies to develop, implement and improve courses and instructional deliverables; and use technology platforms (i.e., LMS) for delivery and management.
    • Establish and meet program expectations and metrics; collect and maintain data and dashboards.
    • Partner with internal and external resources (vendors & institutions) for educational content; support relationships with instructors and SME who play a role in program delivery.

    Support Enterprise Initiatives

    • Participate in planning, development, and execution HR driven initiatives in areas like: employee engagement, employee experience, organizational change management, cultural competency, and career development.

    SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    • Exemplifies the Cooper Values – compassion, inclusion and excellence.
    • Proven experience leading educational / professional development classes and blended programs with teams and in live/virtual classroom setting; coaching experience a plus.
    • High proficiency using analytical tools (Excel) and performing data analysis; must be proficient in all MS Office products; fluent in all MS Office tools.
    • Strong planning and organization skills; can demonstrate the ability to take a project from ideation to implementation.
    • Strong writing skills and ability to create internal communications and other written deliverables.
    • Positive attitude and willingness to jump in and support team and organizations needs when needed; ability to work on-site a Cooper with the team.
    • A growth mindset; seek out areas for improvement and take initiative.
    • Adaptable to a fast paced and changing environment and continue to move work forward.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Education:

    BS degree in Human Resources, Training/Organization Development, Leadership Development, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or equivalent required. Master’s degree preferred.

    Experience:

    Minimum of 5 years of related experience required.

    Excellent project management skills, organization skills, problem solving, and decision making ability required

    Required License/Certifications/ Registration:

    Minimum of one professional certification; two preferred – for example Crucial Conversations, DISC, Change Management, Coaching, or other.

    This position is located onsite at Cooper's state-of-the-art training and event Conference Center; close to amenities like Cooper Solutions employee concierge service; Starbucks coffee, and outdoor Healing Garden. It's minutes from the Ben Franklin bridge.
