Adobe Captivate and Articulate Storyline are two of the most used authoring tools . This session provides a comprehensive, objective review of both tools: their basic feature sets, capabilities, strengths, and weaknesses. The session will include head-to-head comparisons of all major categories for each tool. Categories include: Interface, Media, Interactivity, Quizzing, Publishing, Players, Accessibility, File Management and Diagnostics, Templates, Import/Export, Localization, and Pricing. We’ll:
  • Describe the basic categories of features in both Adobe Captivate and Articulate Storyline.
  • Differentiate between key decision points for determining which tool works best in a given situation.
  • Provide a matrix handout for easy reference and comparison.







Since 1992, Mark Steiner has designed and developed custom eLearning and interactive media programs for a variety of clients. He holds a BS in Industrial Technology and an MS in Industrial Training. His project roles have varied from group director to project manager, and lead instructional designer to lead programmer. He is intimately familiar with proven eLearning methodologies.
