Have you mastered the foundations of Articulate Storyline, but advanced notions like variables, conditions, and triggers make your head spin? This session will introduce you to the programming mindset. In five minutes, you'll have a good understanding of these advanced features and what they can do for your career in design and development. Interested in a humor-infused, hands-on introduction to programming for anyone? This is your chance to say to yourself, "I've got this!" the next time you're faced with an Articulate Storyline challenge.

Application on the Job:
Use variables in Articulate Storyline to enhance learner experience.
Apply triggers and conditions to create branching in your next Storyline project.
Learn how using humor in learning is OK.

Zsolt Olah is the former director of innovation and learning solutions at PDG (Performance Development Group). His team delivered innovative learning and performance solutions for happy clients. Zsolt has 20 years of experience in the learning and development space, mostly focusing on the synergy of applied technology, creative design, and game thinking (engagement and motivation). His passion to combine innovative learning technology with human-centered design goes back to his thesis project, where he built an artificial neural-network (machine learning). Zsolt is a frequent speaker at learning conferences, and author of the book, Engage the WORL&D!, spreading his belief that people get engaged when their mind is challenged, not when they have to move their mouse.
