Description:

What does it mean to be a learning and development professional? If job postings are any indicator, it can mean SO many things! In this session, you will explore job postings and comparing them to the new ATD Capability Model. Do you need a formal degree to work in L&D? What parts of the ATD Capability Model are employers interested in? What technical programs are the most popular to know? This session will answer these questions through recent research.

Applications:

  • Operationalize what L&D professionals do
  • Discuss the ATD Capability Model and what it means for you
  • Explore what it takes to be a modern L&D professional
