  • Wed, September 08, 2021
  • 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM
  • Online

Description:

Does your organization need a culture to revamp? In this webinar, you'll hear the journey one Human Resources Champion took to develop an intentional workplace culture from the ground up and how they turned their organization into a destination employer. Come along the journey of building a business case for culture initiatives, finding the natural allies in your organization, engaging employees, and celebrating what makes your company unique.

In this webinar you will hear from Kim Hamill, SHRM-SCP an experienced Human Resources professional with demonstrated performance in the construction industry. As many in the HR world do, Kim currently fills several roles within her organization and is the AR/HR Manager & Safety Program Administrator for APEX Mechanical & Fabrication. Kim earned her B.A. in Economics from the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics at the University of Delaware. Beginning at APEX Mechanical & Fabrication in Accounts Receivable, she was soon tasked with consulting on a cost analysis of employee benefits and implementing new plan designs. Seeing both the need and opportunity to create a human resources position, Kim began redefining how HR was considered and could impact the organization.

Over time she has developed and oversaw a comprehensive benefits program, leadership development training, workforce development and performance management programs, and a cultural overhaul. Since 2019 her recruiting efforts along with implementation on a new HRIS expansion have enabled employee growth of 50%. Kim is passionate about workplace safety and as a partner to the corporate Safety Manager has improved safety engagement by creating safety incentive programs, developing safety content, and crafting safety presentations that align with corporate goals. After 12 years practicing HR, Kim is skilled in many HR competencies, including recruiting, compliance, performance management, employee training, and employee engagement.

This session will be moderated by Diane Campanile, SHRM-SCP.
