Description:

2021 is almost over and 2022 looms ahead. It is almost two years since the pandemic began and employers are still dealing with the fallout. In this ever-changing environment, organizations are faced with many legal implications as a result of COVID-19, but the pandemic is not the only issue employers have dealt with when it comes to new laws and regulations.  Join Kelly Bunting and Malcolm Ingram of Greenberg Traurig Philadelphia as they provide insight on current and future developments relating to:

  1. COVID-19 work from home/mandatory vaccination/mask mandates;
  2. New employment-related laws, rules and regulations that have been enacted this year or are will go into effect next year;
  3. Employment-related court cases of importance in 2021;
  4. What employers can expect in 2022.

Kelly Bunting litigates federal and state class and collective actions alleging wage and hour violations, misclassification, overtime, minimum wage and off-the-clock work. She also defends employers around the country in single plaintiff harassment, discrimination, retaliation, restrictive covenant, trade secret and whistleblower cases. She currently maintains a robust HR counseling practice and assists employers with day-to-day HR compliance issues and COVID-19-related questions such as religious and medical exemption requests related to vaccination. She also conducts anti-bias training and compliance training for managers. She has been listed in the Best Lawyers in America for Litigation/Labor & Employment since 2019, and for Employment Law, Management in 2022; listed as Recommended in The Legal 500 since 2016 for L&E, Workplace and Employment Counseling, and listed in Who’s Who in Labour and Employment Law (EU) since 2018.

Malcolm J. Ingram is an associate in the Labor & Employment Practice of Greenberg Traurig’s Philadelphia office. His practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including internal investigations and virtually all phases of employment litigation.
