    TEKsystems’ client is looking for two talented Instructional Designers to join their team. This individual will be responsible for developing, implementing, and enhancing e-learning programs; and documenting applications, processes, and procedures online for the internal knowledge base and for self-service support.

    As a E-learning Professional, this individual should be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and learning theory. He/she should have excellent communication skills and be able to express the companies’ views creatively.


    This position will primarily be focused designing and delivering interactive e-learning content on varied topics including IT systems and clinical, academic, and research applications. This position will also be focused on developing accurate documentation, developing training programs, and providing end user support. This position requires imaginative and out-of-the-box thinking around the design and development of training and documentation. This position also needs to be able to leverage progressive technologies to meet all the job responsibilities in a challenging and rewarding innovation-driven environment. This position needs to work efficiently and collaboratively within the group and across the organization.

    Training, learning, and documentation developed by this position will support groundbreaking, industry-leading, and innovative initiatives.


    • Designs, develops, and delivers training for in-class, blended, and online environments.
    • Designs, develops, implements, evaluates, and enhances online tutorials and documentation.
    • Works directly and indirectly with partners and clients to determine training scope, requirements, and resources.
    • Administers and maintains enterprise training applications such as scheduling and learning management systems and use to schedule workshops, work with clients on training, maintain roles, monitor compliance, and troubleshoot production issues.
    • Delivers innovative, high-quality training solutions on time, on budget, and within scope.
    • Be responsible for accurately documenting work, using project management systems, and operating within agile project management processes.


    Bachelor’s Degree in Adult Education, Technical Writing, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Information Systems, or related field is required.

    Master’s Degree in Adult Education, Technical Writing, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Information Systems, or related field is preferred.


    3-5 years of experience in training, technical writing and/or instructional design, and the development of documentation and interactive online learning tutorials.


    • Proven experience designing and developing interactive and engaging online tutorials and curricula is required.
    • Proven experience developing online training curricula; delivering in-class and on-the-job training to individuals, small groups, and large groups in face-to-face and online environments; and evaluating training is required.
    • Experience developing technical documentation is required.
    • Ability to learn new technical skills, applications, and processes is required.
    • Strong communication skills including oral, written, and presentation skills are required.
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
    • Training/education in adult learning, instructional design, and technical writing and associated theories and practical skills is highly desired.
