NSA-PHL is your local chapter of the National Speakers Association. Delaware SHRM is proud to be affiliated with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), chapter number 206.

The Society is the world’s largest association devoted to human resource management. Representing more than 250,000 members in over 140 countries, SHRM has more than 575 affiliated chapters within the United States and subsidiary offices in China and India. The Society serves the needs of HR professionals and advances the interests of the HR profession.

Since 1974, DE SHRM has provided members with professional development, resources, tools, relevant and comprehensive information, education, legislative updates, leadership development and peer networking to enable members to make informed decisions, stimulate professional growth and enhance workplace contributions.

Founded in 1949, Philly SHRM has provided professional development and networking opportunities for the area’s human resource practitioners for over a half a century. This organization is considered Super-Mega within the SHRM community and has been recognized as a Superior Merit chapter.

Today, we are comprised of over 1,400 members consistently each year from over 500 of the Philadelphia region’s finest companies. Ranging from students just entering the profession to the most senior human resource executives, the Chapter is committed to developing our people and our profession.

Our vision is to be the leading HR organization for connecting and developing professionals in the greater Philadelphia business community.

The Center for Millennial Engagement is the only global nonprofit agency with a mission to advance the Human Resources and Workforce Development fields through a purposeful focus on the largest generation in the workplace; millennials. Although we take a multigenerational approach, our goal is to help business and organizational leaders devise practical strategies to attract, onboard, develop, and retain high-achieving millennial professionals.

The Pennsylvania Career Development Association (PACDA) was officially chartered on June 28, 2019, as a State Division of the National Career Development Association (NCDA). The purpose of PACDA is to offer high quality, accessible professional development and networking opportunities to career services practitioners throughout the state.

PACDA’s target audience is intentionally diverse, to include career services and career development professionals in corporate outplacement, talent development and mobility, higher education, K-12 schools, workforce development, public and private agencies, non-profit organizations and private practices.

STC’s mission is to improve the quality and effectiveness of technical communication for audiences worldwide. STC is concerned with the education, improvement, and advancement of its members.

Since 1971, STC-PMC fills these needs on a local basis through a wide range of activities, including monthly meetings; job postings, education information; student sponsorships and scholarships, a mentor program for people new to the tech comm industry, competitions for technical publications, and online communications via our News & Views electronic newsletter as well as social media.

Monthly program featuring a different business or success author on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 6-8pm.
